Jack-of-all-trades

I was a real Jack-of-all-trades in my first real job. My layout desk was rarely free of projects.  We had a 16" x 20" lithographic press, but each colour had to be printed separately. This meant doing four colour overlays and four runs through the machine. I gained priceless experience as I had to learn to operate the press and well as do the graphics. No trade unions in those days!
